My high school coach got us all summer jobs picking 🍍 on Lanai. Served three worthy purposes. Conditioning, foolishness avoidance, and 💵 in our pockets for the school year. It was probably against some rule but it was brilliant for the mostly mediocre athletes he mentored.

So there’s a certain megalomaniac that has been making terrible, money losing decisions for a few years now. He’s so rich though that his wealth continues to go up. The system is badly broken. A lot of people are making good choices every day, the same system robs them to give to the first guy.

My wife has not bought as much this year mostly because she still has a lot from years past. Also, I don’t know about what digital assets she might have bought- just that I’ll need to pay off a bigger credit card balance this month.
