It's been a few days since my operation. I am recovering well. I've got four new holes in my stomach. The largest of which is right at my belly button and it aches when I move. Eating and drinking OK, moving around to keep mobile and doing what MrsP tells me to do. It'll be a few weeks, but I am OK.
Home from hospital, sore and tired. Going to eat a simple supper and then go to bed. But, I am alive!
Cheers Hel!
Hello! Thanks very much Jonathan.
Thanks Kev
Cheers Mike
Thanks very much
Will do, thanks Darren.
Cheers mate.
Thank you friend.
Thanks :)
Thanks Patrick!
I'm going to be offline for probably the next week. Tomorrow is my long awaited gallbladder operation and so I'll be resting up for the days after. I've got a #toolingtuesday blog post idea, but it'll have to wait an extra week. :)
In case you missed it :)
The return of #tuesdaytooling and the Commodore Repair Toolkit is all you need to fix #commodore64 #vic20 and the #commodore128. Pinouts, oscilloscope waveforms, component lists.
This free tool works on Windows and with a little Wine magic, it works on Linux too!

No, the whole OpenClaw situation, first suggested by another users X post has kicked off interest in running OpenClaw on Pi. Many AI enthusiasts have jumped on after the earlier Mac Mini interest. This has lead to more purchases of Raspberry Pi and it's shares.
The #RaspberryPi roller coaster share price, #AI and what the future may hold. The Raspberry Pi share price has soared this week, buoyed by #OpenClaw and many, many transactions on the London Stock Exchange. bigl.es/pi-stocks/
That is a lovely project! Nice work Simon.
Tinkering with Pimoroni's new Badger 2350, powered by the #raspberrypi #RP2350 I've written an app to get the names of the astronauts on the International Space Station using the built in Wi-Fi and a little JSON magic.
I made "Greggs Roulette", an app to decide what tasty treat to eat from Greggs!
I used the new Tufty 2350 from Pimoroni, it has a lovely bright screen, great case and a powerful #RaspberryPi #RP2350 SoC (the same as the #Pico2) with Wi-Fi and onboard LiPo power!

New blog post!
Java based #Commodore #VIC20 emulator brings the classic 1980s computer to your browser. Now excuse me, I am off to play Gorf!

Tinkering with Pimoroni's new Badgeware boards, right now it's Badger 2350 and I am having fun making my own badge with custom image of me. These new badges have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, onboard lipo and charging. They can be sooo much more than just a badge, and that is what I intend to do!

Photos show the prototype unit, final units will be injection molded according to the Crowdsupply page. :)
Today's #raspberrypi news post is another retro computing project that uses the Raspberry Pi RP2350 to emulate IDE hard drives and ATAPI CD ROMs, all in one injection molded package! Just the thing for #retrocomputing fans.

Thought that I would start writing up interesting Raspberry Pi / Maker news stories over on my neglected blog. I miss writing about stuff like this, so I'll get back in to the groove!

That's done! Psion Pi project. Kept the orange (nice and bright). The top plate doesn't friction-fit wonderfully so I'm not sure what the next step is to make it better, short of having a hole to screw it down with. I don't want to glue it just in case I need to get at the SD card. Ideas welcome!
My #RaspberryPi project - the PsionPi. A Pi 4 is underneath the screen. Then, I have a 3S Waveshare UPS giving power to the whole thing, over which is a #Psion 5 keyboard. A small adapter board converts the keyboard signal to USB. 2 3D printed halves of the case are held together with M2.5 screws.
The final #MakerAdvent is live!
Join me as I connect up and write code for the new Commodore 64 Ultimate's user port accessory. I show you how to use BASIC to control an LED, because once we know how to do this, we can do anything!
Thanks for watching, happy holidays!
