If the very first thing that happens when you start using AI for military operations is you erroneously bomb a girls' school, one would think that'd tell you something about its efficacy
Glad you're okay!
Having now finished Cadfael, I'm really sad there isn't more...but some part of me wants to dub over (Flash Gordon stylee) the weekly actor who we refer to as Sir/Lady BadRead. It's hard enough being on-screen with Derek Jacobi, but some of those performances were absolutely atrocious...
It was inevitable that a TLOAS song would find its way to the top of my list, and here she is...
I don't know about robust (because it's pretty light) but I recorded all the foley and voice for our games on a Zoom H1n, and I was pretty impressed by the quality. You can get a little hard case for it too, which helps immensely.
Aye, it's a point and click where you help a bunch of animal friends throw a rad party...by happening to solve their big boggles. It's kind of Jim Henson-y and kind of Monty Python-y, and was designed to be an evening-sized safe space. But that meant hardly anybody played it π
I'm biased but, given what you've said here, I think you'd really like my game Shindig.
Promised I would share my hula hoops with my husband, but only if he ate them the correct way, by putting them on his fingoes. Because I *do* make the rules, and this is but one.
This is the way.
Hooray! We have a new kitchen mixer tap, and it's beautiful!
Lovely pics! Here are a few of my captures that might provide extra inspo.
Well, any time it's not convenient for you to get it direct, send me a shopping list and I'll do a little care package. π§‘
You DO know I will take a pilgrimage to M&S any time and send you shortbread over, right?
That thing where you think you've masking-taped and dust-sheeted enough, but the spraypaint ended up miiiiiiles over there. It's scrubbin' time!
(I'm still not gonna take the other radiator off the wall to zhuzh it up tho. We'll sheet and mask extra loads moremoreMORE for that one.)
Given the director I expected a lot more overall, I think.
The movie never felt like it really got going, and the big finale setpiece was more of a damp squib... then it was over.
So, I feel much the same: it had a fair sense of place, but Lee Pace was criminally underused, the fights were lacklustre, and the main character was a nothingy-bloke whose main character trait was quickly forgotten in the malaise.
For me, it was using fluticasone propionate, applied to the inner ear on a cotton bud. In the UK you can get that as a nasal spray called Pirinase. It's only a day's relief but worth it for me. Fingers crossed it helps you!
I've watched a few episodes of Alias now, and so far it has a lot in common with Poor Things. No sex, but the same theme of vile men who desire, and desire to control, our heroine. But, Alias doesn't seem to know that's it's own main theme...
Will it become self-aware before I get bored? Who knows?
A gentle Friday night spent watching Cadfael, when - hold on a sec-
IS THAT DANNY FUCKING DYER?
And indeed it was Danny Fucking Dyer.
(I am terrible with names but mad good with faces.)
Bleh. I really don't like wallpapering.
No video this week as I have to do a whole bunch of emergency decorating in the bathroom to get it usable again.
I really don't like wallpapering π
I need a couple of days for my full thoughts to bloom on these things, but - having *just* watched it - the new Running Man never got up to speed for me.
Y u posting pics of predator, brah? π
Eeeeh, episode three not so much.
The latest Predator just looks like Spiny Norman to me.
For those wondering, yes,
it has a huge section where the bit goes on,
to the audience's discomfort,
for far too long,
and you wish you could hammer the "I get it" button,
but you can't,
which is kind of the point.
It wouldn't really be a Stewart Lee joint if it didn't, would it?
Big same. π
