Personally, I'm hoping that the excitement of finally being able to use the thumb I broke by slamming it in a car door again will give me renewed energy come mid-January. New finger bone cells, new me.
If I can provide the trans women in my life with more safety and happiness, that's my most important responsibility, for selfish reasons. But in a new year I hope we can all protect the ones we love, I hope we can lighten each other's burdens, I hope everyone laughs so hard they cry at least once.
I feel a little frustrated when I see aspirational posts along the lines of "2026 is gonna be better I can feel it" cause it feels so dismissive of the current situation. But. But for myself & others I hope we can find energy in hope in the new year. I hope we can create/fight for/find more joy.

Another belated #fattrewind, secret samol gifts from 2022 & 2023! I was given such amazing prompts, including an outfit swap for ⸢Signet⸣, Aria, & Millie.
2022 was fun, shout out to the friends who invited me to work in their studio space and do a lot of risograph printing. Also ft. a couple illustrations for the game Girl by Moonlight.
2021 was also the year I read a bunch of x-men comics and completely lost my mind. Have some 80s Magneto, Krakoa cherik, and also Goblin Queen Enoch as a bonus treat
In 2021-22 I was fortunate & able to take about a year off from working a real job. I had more time & creative drive, and I made a lot of work that I'm still really proud of. Here's some Blades in the Dark art from 2021.
