Xavi Valero an interesting (re)appointment by Liverpool. Spoke to Lukasz Fabianski about working with him at West Ham in an interview in 2020. Very hot on positioning. #lfc www.skysports.com/football/new...

Find it impossible to see Arsenal closing the gap now. Have doubted it since the Saka injury. But it is amazing to think that if they had beaten West Ham and Liverpool had lost or even drawn at Man City, the title would be in their hands, with a game in hand and Anfield to come.

Ten days and three games on from this column, Mohamed Salah is projected to hit an even higher total for goals and assists. On track for 58 now. “A Messi and Ronaldo season” indeed. www.skysports.com/football/new...

Time to give David Raya a go on the wing? He clocked a higher top speed than any other Arsenal player with his late recovery run against West Ham, at 32.65km/h. William Saliba was next on 30.90km/h. Only Aaron Wan-Bissaka ahead of him in the game! www.skysports.com/football/liv...
