Had some onboarding / employee stuff I had to do today for my new job. It hasn't started officially yet, but this helped make it feel more real. Lets me know that this job isnt going to be rug pulled or disappear suddenly from me lol. At least not yet.

Got my first ever 4K monitor, its a 31" Ultra Wide Screen from LG. :O Going to use it for work since most of my work will be done from home, and involves a lot of coding, and creating visualization dashboards. Plus I hooked up my Switch 2 to it as well. :P

Accepted a job offer this week! Its a contract role, but that is okay! Job search was from February 21 - July 28. Applied to 359 jobs, Rejected by 216, declined one offer, and declined to interview with another because it was an AI interview and lied about being remote. 139 no responses.

I am really sorry this happened! Will keep my eyes open. I know the Game industry in Seattle got hit really hard this year, so there isn't much open. All I can think of with active hiring is Amazon Games Studio.
