I'd wager most people think gas is the same as oil in your chart. Like the 2 are just 1 line. Guessing they think it's the same fuel. Just like the HI example could be naptha & to them that's the same as oil and same as natural gas.

Reactionary elites are aiming for an imagined past whereas MSM elites aim for an imagined literate Republican voter.

Such people do exist, but they're very small in number. It's why Bari Weiss is failing so badly at CBS. The Free Press had already captured that entire audience.

A beautifully ordained table. The ordains: French toast piled high on a plate with a single pice on 2 plates. Assorted berries of raspberry blueberry and blackberry in their containers as well as in small pink bowls. A clear glass bowl of whipped cream so tempting, just asking to have someone shove their face into it. A plate of bacon some super crispy some less crispy. A mug of coffee, half full. A butter stick slightly used on a crystal butter dish. A half eaten cinimon roll. Some bananas of various ripeness. One naked blue plate waiting for delicious breakfast.

Happy "1980s Stay out of the kitchen cause Dad needs to finish taxes and is using the whole table for the important papers." Day to all who celebrate.

A pie uncooked with the top crust vent marks. A 3.14 is cut into it as vents for Pi Day

A KC Current win deserves cherry pie!

*Everyday is a good day for pie.

sorry basically the problem of my life is that i internalized and believed a lot of stuff people said about valuing children and loving your neighbor and living in a society at the exact moment that everyone in power decided all of that shit was fake and gay and not a way to make a living

Watching Politico get told they're sanewashing shit by the guy they're sanewashing is just excellent. Media cooked. Getting dunked on by the people they're protecting. We are in the post-dignity era of the press.

Besides volunteering at the dog rescue, I’m putting together some homeless bags for Chicago men and women.

If this was you, what would you honestly wish was in the bag to help for a few days?

I want your opinions!

Took me like 8 months to get an appt at my barber. It was crazy that it took that long!

*Didn't call to set up an appt until 8 months had past.

Somedays I wish I'd done something else, and today that is "why didn't I become a maritime international legal scholar" so I could figure out the options here. Sink it and let it become "treasure", just pull it in for the scrap metal? I'd assume its already empty of the LNG though.

I'd be interesting to see what the breakdown of these are. For instance the fire-hardening budget in 1 v the other, the ROE component, etc. all in a cents/kWh basis. No clue as to the 2 muni's expenses, but I'd guess they don't have the same risk factors nor same RORB type of "needs".

Polymarket, Kalshi and all the rest of these prediction markets need to be wiped off the face of the earth. They provide absolutely nothing of value and are corrupting everything they touch.

"The Broadview concentration camp is open for Congresspeople to visit as law requires. The only thing prohibiting viewing is the armed secret police who will physically assault them, arrest them, charge them w/ assault, it is open for legal review should ICE not do that."

I built a website to show cookie jar collectors actual pictures, "value" and what they sold for. Free, no ads. Just "hey fellow cookie jar people, here's a reference". My sister couldn't wrap her head around the concept - "why? Why not sell that info...."

Its just cookie jars man.

Most just smile and nod bc you know for a fact the other person will not take kindly* any push-back and there is no possible way to change their minds.

*could be violent (see father in TX who shot his kid after she told him truths about T)

Chart by Anthropic showing by sector how AI is perceived as could impact but where AI is observed impacting clear indication that admin, sales, legal, education computer business & math experiencing some impact, but none as much as scoped

Ah this is a chart I was thinking of by Anthropic:

I think it captures the mood really well tbh. Expectations versus outcomes -

graph showing huge increase in LNG exports while Biden was president.

Why is the public so confused on energy issues? Propaganda from the financial press. From today's WSJ editorial section.

"The biggest threat to this plan was always the Biden administration, which halted liquefied natural-gas exports..."

This is a not true. See graph below.

Perhaps a mailer that said "If this admin wasn't so anti-woke they could simply use the Bi-pass of Hormuz instead, but they refuse to do so & that's why your gas prices for your monster trucks are $200 / fill-up." (Monster trucks like the ones Congress use to commute in DC can take a full barrel).
