Just when I was beginning to feel better, I'm getting sick again. All bc a narcissist took their ill teen to a function, which got my dad ill and has thus gotten me ill. Thanks for that.

Yesterday was a very emotional one. It was the funeral for my aunt who suddenly passed away last week. She was such a wonderful woman. She always put everyone else's needs before her own. And that laugh of hers... That infectious laughter I will miss.

Back in the fall I entered a contest to win 1 of 3 @aplatypu.ss @youtooz.bsky.social plushies. The win came after a bad wk at work. This past wk it arrived after a difficult time in my life. Max, I dunno how you do it, but you always manage to brighten my life up when I need it most 🙂 Thank you!

Not only that, but their teen also went and competed at a track & field event, putting others at risk. Today their teen was diagnosed with pneumonia. Great parenting. This bothers me deeply as I just had an aunt pass away last week from pneumonia. I am livid with this person.

Narcissists are the worst. One such person recently brought their I'll teen to a banquet b/c their teen was being awarded something. And it was a paid event. Were they masked? Nope. Were there a lot of older people there? Yep. Did anyone else get sick? You betcha.

I am so happy! Nothing is set in stone but it's looking like I might be up for a promotion in the future 🤩 all my hard work is paying off finally!

So I rolled my ankle the other night. They say it's just a sprain but I've sprained my ankle before (tore 2-3 ligaments) and this hurts a hell of a lot more. So I might have to go back and see the doctor next week.

Dementia Don has done 1 good thing. He united Canada. For the 1st time in yrs we as a country have felt pride in ourselves. And as a country we have taken ownership back of our beloved flag, who's image was tarnished by covid convoy some years ago. I feel proud once again to wear our flag everyday.

Spade is a spade. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

It'd been about 4 hrs since we've put up a Christmas tree. The last time we did, it was our last Christmas was our cat Shay. She would pass away 6 months later from cancer. I miss her so much 💔

I checked my emails immediately and there it was, a congratulatory email from Youtooz confirming my win. I needed this win. I know it's just a plushie, but after my week, I needed something to be happy about.

I got home a bit early on Friday, which was a plus. I was exhausted, physically & mentally. I fire up Twitch and tune into APlatypuss to cheer me up. Oh boy, was I in for a surprise! There I saw my name as one of the raffle winners for his Youtooz! I was shocked! I didn't think I'd actually win!

So last week was just a complete crap shoot. Nothing was going right at all. I just wanted to curl up and hide away from everyrhing. I was burnt out. I was disappointed I didn't win either of the raffles at work. That would have been at least something nice to cap my week off. Nope. I got nah-da.

Time can strengthen bonds or can erode them.

Time is the eternal teacher. Time teaches us a plethora lessons, whether or not we want to learn them. Time is the ultimate revealer. Time will open your eyes to see the truth, whether you want to or not. Time lost cannot be regained. But time is unending. It will out live all of us.
