Not sure if this is a hot take but I sometimes see people talk about moderation as the central spine of community management.

Moderation is to community management what taking the trash out is to being a chef. It’s part of the equation for sure but it’s not really the thing.

I had a dream about the Mothman and woke up in a really good mood. I'm going to store that in the memory bank for the next time someone asks me to tell them about myself.

Someone needs to teach me how to end sentences. The start of my sentences are super clear and I can make a great point but it basically ends then I don't know how to stop it and then so yeah that's sort of it so

My least favourite meme of all time was the 'it is wednesday my dudes' toad and how it would get posted every single week. In New Zealand it was always Thursday. IT WAS ALWAYS THURSDAY!!!!

Sometimes when I talk about my thoughts on community management, people call me idealistic but I'm actually really proud to have made it this far without getting jaded or losing my hope in the goodness of things.

Lol I got it from a random ass cafe that does not specialise in such things (it was a whim because I had already had two coffees and wanted something hot). I’m yet to find a tea that I feel “yay!” about. That’s the dream. I drink green tea in summer because it helps my hayfever but I don’t like it!

I'm toying with the idea of giving up coffee so I tried a matcha latte for the first time and it was like a piece of spinach threw up in my mouth. What's that about? How do you come to enjoy that? I might just switch to decaf coffee.

When I was 20 my anxiety was so bad it was hard to do some ordinary things, the pinnacle of which was going to the post office. I just got back from the post office and realised it was exactly ordinary. It’s not a huge thing, just a nice reminder of how things change over time.
