Character sketch and painted mock up of Mythology character Demeter, who is sometimes seen with a horse head, but I've envisioned her wearing a horse helmet, which would then help her morph into a horse.

Pencil sketches of youthful Zeus and Poseidon characters. Zeus wielding his lightening bolts to control the Titans beneath the Earth.

Pencil sketch Stone Age female deity, bird and snake characteristics as goddess of water and air, nurturing crops and infants. Minotaur sketch. Another pencil sketch based on canoes of the gods.

#kidlit #artcommissions Would be cool to work on a Mythology based series. Been sketching ideas from a book on the worlds variety. Assuming a sidestepping around the adultery and incest parts. Not sure what punchy means, but absolutely intrigued. Sketches. Kidlike characters?

A good read. Lots of good points and many truths. At this point, I do not fear death, even though I've lost 5 family members over the last 6 years. But I'm acutely aware I only have so many yrs. left. What keeps me on track is I could be gone tom. So I'm living ea. day as creatively as I can.

Barely had a handle on all the other soc. med. sites I started out in, so just more of the same ol' energy sucking. I may get there some day. Onward. (Besides, lots of great creative people here)

I love old advertising. It's nearly always awesomely illustrated and with intricate flourishes and fonts. I save old stuff I find.

Thanks for posting this. I needed to hear it today. Another recent rejection on something I worked a long time on. Seriously considering it may be time to consider self publishing.
Research. But today...nature. It consoles me.
