Diagrammatic map of the Tokyo railway network, using a hexalinear grid alignment. The map features both JR railways, private railways, and other minor railways in the region spanning Tokyo and its surroundings (albeit not extending to Chiba, Saitama, or Yokohama due to space restrictions). It uses the standard color-coded system, but with added effort to standardize the color palette and keep the line colors vibrant and complementary.

i dont think ai can do this either but of course, no ai, purely me drawing it one stroke at a time, so id appreciate any support!

An eight-car long special V set with an orange headboard reading "Final V Set Revenue Service Lithgow to Central 30th January 2026" led by V25 trailed by V10 sits at Platform 2 of Central. The rear end of the train has been painted in the "Grey Goose" original livery, featuring blue and grey stripes.

Hectic but well worth it!

One last run...

Two V sets, both in yellow and orange livery sit at terminal tracks at Sydney central station.

Sets V21 and V36 at Sydney Central station, 2024.
All good things must come to an end, and tomorrow is the last run of these wonderful trains. Who knows how many millions of people they moved over the years? A real credit to people at Comeng.

On a dull day, a V set glides away from the station a few platform across.

As far as I can tell, this was the first photo I ever took of a V set - at Strathfield in 1983. The gold tinted windows made them seem so futuristic.

After more than 55 years serving the people of New South Wales, tomorrow is the last ever run in public service of a V set interurban double deck electric train. So this is the perfect time for a photographic tribute to these venerable, hard working and much loved trains.

Thank you! I imagined they might need to move giant vessels of some sort through the harbour in this future, so the bridge had to be shifted out of the way... but it's indeed mostly that it just looks cool!
