I think the whole thing is designed to create that kind of atmosphere unfortunately. Football is such an ego-driven thing too; everyoneβs opinions smell sweeter than everyone elseβs. You realise how bad it is online when you speak to people at the pub/the match/whatever and theyβre normal.

Iβm trying to get away from this. X is/was a problem in itself. Toxicity galore.
I also find that when I go to games (Saturday a prime example), the way people behave afterwards is shocking, like theyβre in a bad mood so can do whatever they see fit. Itβs grim.

Itβs not been true for many years, as we all knew, but the 15-16 reliable first-teamers we did have were *so* good that it papered over it.
Once Rodri was gone, it was curtains for this season. KDB being out (essentially) during these 5 losses has also played a massive part.

I donβt like the word βcrisisβ, because long-term, weβll be fine.
But you can put any of this seasonβs failures to come firmly down to poor planning from the club, whose attention seems to be elsewhere. Pep might be culpable too; probably is.
Itβll be a slog unless we go big in January (we wonβt).

We all knew Walker was declining rapidly last season, let alone this.
We all knew that De Bruyne is another year older with a poor injury record.
We all knew the same about Stones.
We all knew, but the club didnβt ask. We will pay the price heavily this season on a trophy front.

Cityβs squad planning heading into this season was catastrophic.
Anyone with a pair of eyes knew that not having a player to rotate with Rodri would kill us.
Anyone couldβve told you that an injured Bobb, an unproven Savio, a patchy Doku and an unavailable, inconsistent Grealish wasnβt enough.
24.11.2024 09:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Terrible game.
None of this will get better with the personnel available.
Disgraceful defensively. Pep is out of ideas too.
Anfield will be horrendous next weekend.
The bubble had to burst eventually.
23.11.2024 19:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Savio shouldnβt be our number one winger.
Foden being anonymous every game is killing us.
Haaland is nothing without service.
Lewis, Gundogan and Bernardo as a midfield three is laughable.
The defence looks like a shadow of its former self, particularly Stones, Walker and Akanji.
23.11.2024 18:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Savinho suffered the age-old City problem of looking sharp for two games and everyone losing their mind.
Every year. Same thing. Doku last year. Same thing. A good player who is not ready to be the star man at City. Wake up and see whatβs in front of you.
23.11.2024 18:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Grealish is without doubt, our best option on the left wing at the minute, but it doesnβt change the fact that itβs his own availability issues that plague him, not his football ability.
Either injured, suspiciously unavailable or just openly not right, he misses too many games. Time to get rid.

Itβs an oddly vital game for City today and yet I couldnβt feel less nervous if I tried.
Lose or draw and the title looks more and more difficult.
Feels like weβll see a reaction today though. Have a feeling on a Haaland hat-trick.

Couldnβt agree more. KDBβs salary, injury record and age should make it a no brainer. Heβs one of quite a few City should be looking at moving on in the summer if we have any chance of realistically rebuilding. Heβs objectively the best player weβve ever had but itβs time, for me.

When you consider how absolutely βdoneβ City wouldβve been with one bad injury in a few positions prior to the season starting, it shows you how appalling the squad planning was.
Haaland, Rodri, KDB. Any of those three out for the season derails us. Oneβs already happened.

Enjoying my Bluesky feed but what I would say is, I ticked off that I liked sports and now Iβm having NFL and NBA rammed down my throat almost as hard as I was having right-wing nonsense and porn rammed down my throat on X.
At least I like the NFL a bit.

If Van de Ven is missing, thatβs huge for us.
One of the only centre-halves who can legitimately keep up with Haaland.
Iβm feeling pretty relaxed. In some ways, itβs a must win and in some, it feels like the pressure is off for us. Think weβll be up for it and ready.

Something where they donβt need to control the camera and move at the same time. My partner really struggles with games where camera movement is needed to be done manually. Lego games are a good in for this usually!

My guess is that heβd go with Walker as the right sider, but Iβm pretty certain that that is a horrible idea. Stones is a clear starter but often unavailable. Maguire, Guehi, Dunk, Harwood-Bellis, Quansah etc. all feel in that similar boat of βmeh, not good to start for Englandβ.

Because they literally have no idea whatβs going on. They work on whispers and the whispers are all different so itβs a complete minefield. Iβm sure someone knows something legitimate but how do you separate that from the chancers and grifters? Weβll know when we know.
18.11.2024 12:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Definitely feels like an unbalanced mess. We literally donβt have a natural left-back with any kind of top level experience but we pretty have have to leave one of Palmer/Foden/Saka out every time we play. No established centre-half to partner Stones but 3 unbelievable right-backs for years. Pain.

I recently played TimeSplitters: Future Perfect on PS Plus. Truly, one of my favourite PS2 games ever. It just didnβt hit in quite the same way.
Nostalgia needs to be protected sometimes by simply never going near the media again!

Iβm also really into my video games and looking to talk more about them on this platform.
Canβt be a football one-trick-pony anymore.
Some of my favourite games:
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Death Stranding
- God of War
- Astro Bot
- Crash Bandicoot
- Spyro the Dragon
- Ratchet and Clank
