Back to shout loud that The 1975 are the best band of their generation.

Really like that, can’t complain at all. More than enough to get *at least* a draw against a Fulham team firmly sat on the beach.

Looking forward to it and the season ending.

The biggest frustration is the decision not to give Henderson a red card. The only reason it moves away from goal is because he punched. Otherwise, Haaland has a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Much more so than the pen. A great save from a keeper that shouldn’t be on the pitch.

However, can see him going with something like this if he wants his ‘generals’.

They all need to step it up from last week if this is the team.

Really hard to predict how Pep lines City up today. Can’t help but think he’ll turn to the players that won so much. However, this is what I’d go with;

Foden, KDB, Marmoush;
Haaland.

Article says the interest is independent of deals for Wirtz and MGW. Some midfield rebuild if they pull this off

Really good first half performance and a bit of a shaky second half at times. We rode our luck a bit but a really good performance on the whole. Gundo’s introduction helped us calm the game down again.

Marmoush, Gvardiol & Kovacic were brilliant. Another FA Cup Final, not bad eh

What a fucking ball that was from Doku at the end and fair play to Nunes. Absolutely massive goal from him in a position that is unfamiliar to him.

Doku’s loudest critics silenced twice in 72 hours 🤫

Fucking huuuuge win. Absolutely delighted with that.

I think tonight’s going to be really tough. Villa have everything that has been our kryptonite. Pace & intensity (esp. in midfield).

However, I can’t shake the feeling that we win. I’d go with;

Ortega; Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly; Gundo, Nico, Kova; Foden, Marmoush, Doku.

Bernardo also been told he’s not part of our plans going forward. Brutal, sad, end of an era but it’s absolutely necessary for future success.

These guys have given an enormous amount to City but can no longer do it. A refresh is needed and we’ve called for it all season.

Massive result that. Really solid defensive performance, Pep has found a good balance since HT at Bournemouth!

Predicted a 2-0 on the pod yesterday so nice to get one right for once. Really important win given everyone else’s fixtures this weekend. Happy Easter everyone.

10/11 from what predicted is pretty good in the Pep era 😂. Looks like it’s definitely the same set-up as last week but with Bernardo alongside Nico which is fine. Nunes is needed in the back four to deal with Everton’s crossing / physicality.

Going with a 2-0 win.

Think we’ll line up very similar to last week today:

Ortega;

Nico G, Kovacic, Gundo;
Savinho, Kev, Marmoush

Likely will be 4222 in possession with Kev dropping into the half spaces.
