We want to reassure citizens whose rights are protected under the Withdrawal and Separation Agreements that the IMA remains fully committed to its role in monitoring and enforcing those rights in Gibraltar, as elsewhere and will provide further updates on this matter.
We will be particularly interested in examining the provisions relating to residence rights, right of entry, and frontier worker arrangements, to understand how these might interact with the rights under the Withdrawal and Separation Agreements.
While the IMA has no role in relation to this new Treaty we will be carefully reviewing the text to understand what, if any, implications it might have for EU citizens who live and work in Gibraltar with rights under the Withdrawal and Separation Agreements.
