I've watched it so many times, I find myself relating to different characters each round. That's true of different seasons too. After losing Mark, I really understand Ruth. How she tried to find herself in a series of men and how it never really works out for her. Lessons there.
Personally, I preferred the Fisher and Diaz era, but Rico was always so unhappy...

What’s an obscure/less talked about comics run that you find is a marker of exquisite taste & instant friendship in someone else who likes it?
Bret Blevins was overshadowed by the New Mutants artists who came before & after. He was so expressive & dramatic, perfectly suited to draw these teens.
