Best quote from Brexit? Everyone remembers the Xaciwr Bettel one about opt outs and opt ins, but for me, this one by Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen is more meaningful.

We should post it at the entrance to the EP and put parliaments.

Never forget who you are.

I don't think that is true, it is more around interpretation and regulation. Ofcom chooses to permit it, but is itself compromised. What I do not understand is why Lisa Nandy is so passive when this could just be shut down.

The BBC is by far the most dangerous media outlet.

It reaches 74% of UK adults, has a global reach, has strong levels of trust and uses all of these attributes to promote the right-wing press and right-wing think-tanks regularly across most of its outlets.

A bleak dystopia where Sharia law predominates, while economic and cultural divisions mean that the different communities live parallel, segregated lives.

X allows this. And politicians, journalists and organisations stay on there, thinking they have a valid platform but really, theyโ€™re just normalising the racist radicalisation of our politics.

I guess talking about Brexit damage is a start. But insisting we make this shitshow โ€˜workโ€™ and forcing taxpayers to pay for some of the inevitable and ongoing loss feels like a wildly illogical response to the problem.

Brexit was a bad idea that was โ€œdoneโ€ awfully. It was bad for almost everyone.
Brexit has failed.
