Read my response above to see some "homework" on how publicly-funded stadiums fail to deliver. Endless studies and reporting on this issue. By saying "There's *no* risk" you reveal yourself to be an unserious participant in the convo - and you still haven't offered anything other than vague opinion.

Repeating a fact-less sales pitch bullet point doesn't make it true, especially in the face of tons of evidence to the contrary.

Talk to the folks at Providence Park, Keser Stadium, Autzen Stadium, Hillsboro Hops - existing seasonal, minimum wage job markets up and down the valley without an $800 million entry point shouldered by the taxpayers with little to no return for the state, which has much higher priorities. 🤷‍♂️

Total folly and tone deaf given the current state of things. Don’t talk to me about seasonal minimum wage jobs or taxes on ballplayers. Sorry guys, this isn’t a priority for the people of Oregon. Zero public funding is the only way this should proceed - let those who will cash in take the risk.
