The second was its last for the very good reason it was abysmal.

I got an LG OLED C3 last year. I'd got a Samsung first but sent it back due to a fault and glad I did.

LG interface so much better, Samsung was full of ads.
Pic quality excellent, does Dolby Vision HDR that everyone uses (Samsung didn't).
An external sound system/sound bar is a must.

Surely would be referred eg Sales arms of both ITV and Sky are big (less about the ad share of their channels but the sales houses themselves). News provision could be hard to resolve (ITV owning 40% of ITN) and Ofcom surely wanting a plurality of news providers. Also complicated if Comcast get WBD.

Given their rose tinted liking for the 50s and dislike of modern times, they should surely be Reverse UK

We passed the giant bird and his group up near Lofthouse in Nidderdale on Saturday and it really was a very impressive costume.

That was just based on power running costs too, not the massive outlay and servicing. Best was the punter saying the tea tasted worse too, bet that really riled them up. All from the excellent ‘sliced bread’ programme/podcast.

I gave up on Times Radio a while back. Some specific presenters and shows (weekend especially) allow their commentators go unchallenged, rather like the newspaper. TR have always amplified fringe views, many in the Covid days, shame as their output was originally a refreshing change.

Early adapter here too. Actually bought the box full price then ITV (Granada then) offered £100 subsidy for staff and retrospectively gave me a cheque for £100 back. I remember we spent a good while making sure Heartbeat was TXd in the right aspect ratio but I’m not sure anyone was watching.

Those steps and rickety railings are a bit of a challenge going up though, especially when there’s people barging through coming down. Even with a fear of heights it’s worth it, stunning at the top.
