I stopped watch cable news after the election. And I don't feel even 1% less informed.

I realize now that I wasn't being given much information. But I was being given *lots* of opinions. I am able to form those by myself--if I'm given information.

And I *don't* miss the repeditive ads for Rx.

My nine-year-old has been DEVOURING the History Smashers series. I have a PhD in History, so I couldn't be more thrilled. Hurray to Kate Messner for writing such gripping middle-grade non-fiction. #MGlit 📚👍
