Wes Streeting doesn’t need to give anyone permission. Health Visitors have always been able to do this with appropriate training eg managing anaphylaxis. I did it regularly as an HV in the 90s. But where is he going to magic the HVs from? Most feel all they have time for now is safeguarding?

I disagree, and I’m already claiming my NHS pension. When my state pension kicks in I’ll be receiving more than a lot of working people.

I’ve always said they should have a sliding scale. My mum was £5 a month over the limit for pension credit and consequently was 100s of £££ worse off rather than being £60 a year better off
