As the depths of depravity catalogued in the Epstein files gradually comes into view, I wonder where was Merrick Garland and previous Atty Generals, who had this before them and chose to do nothing. Shame on them all.

Immoral and reprehensible, but why didn’t other wealthy countries step in to fill the void? A human failure that has led to untold suffering.

Ten countries have launched investigations related to the released Epstein files.

Norway, UK, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Australia, North Macedinia, Turkey, Poland.

Conspicuously absent is the United States, the epicenter of this scandal.

We know why.

I go further. If you are among the 70+ million who voted to re-elect a convicted felon, with demonstrated incompetence and cruelty in the first term, you failed that test.

I’ve now seen statements from Presidents Clinton, Obama and Biden? Where’s the one from President Bush? Come on, Sir, you still have a chance to put country over party. Get on the right side of history, and help fight the blight that is upon us.

If your Congressperson and Senators do not speak out against the atrocities happening in our country, and you vote to re-elect them, then you are complicit.

What a senseless loss. When will a majority of us finally conclude enough is enough, and vote to rid ourselves of the scourge that is upon us?

And the big missing moral compass in so many Americans. I just never knew…

Farmers are likely anticipating another government bailout, so they don’t yet regret their overwhelming support of Trump. I hope they will, eventually, come to see the folly of that support (and join the rest of us in helping get rid of this blight on our country).

I have to believe there are people of goodwill across the political spectrum, with some Republicans equally appalled by what they see. We all have to be willing to vote out the enablers in Congress, no matter their other redeeming qualities. We are Americans first.

Our ignoramus-in-chief wouldn’t know the first thing about that.
