What does it mean? What is being sold?
Midtown East afternoon
I went here as a kid on one of my family’s cross country trips. Caves are cool!
Jasmine about to burst open in my living room. It can get heady, but I love it (with the windows open).
This magnolia tree and the furry buds that will burst in to flowers soon. A harbinger of Spring while we still have some winter left.
Such a shopping pleasure.
Good morning sunshine and shadows.
I saw the headlines about the flooding. I hope you are spared the worst of it.
This is terrible news. I also find it telling that the President’s Day protests are not being reported. What’s going on NYTimes? Is that not news that’s fit to print?
On a ferry in Washington State this summer. It’s such a beautiful state. I had to ask myself why I ever moved (I lived there in 95/96).
Instagram is also a huge time suck, is it the dopamine hit? Whatever it is, I want to be more present. And to connect with people in a real way. I need it, I think we all do. Life isn’t meant to be watched, I think we all need really communication, not just likes and hearts. Not to diss emojis ❣️
Sorry if this is meant to be read backwards. I’m a Luddite. What I also liked about insta were the cute animals and funny stuff. Not the advertising, that made me want stuff, it was effective at targeting what I like.
What I liked most about Instagram was the ability to communicate with people that I wouldn’t otherwise, and I’m already connecting with some of you. Hi!👋🏼
