Hannah the Cat

Hannah's mama here. I can't type the whole thread up again or I'll burst into tears, so I'll share what I wrote on my personal account - I had to say goodbye to Hannah yesterday. It hurts so much, not having her here.

She'll be sorely missed, by myself and by everyone who knew her.

new favorite spot to hang out: on the arm of the couch

i can see everything going on, and if i turn around i can see the outdoors and the birbs

and i can also easily hop down onto the couch and harass mama for lap snuggles

10/10 best perch ever

i swear, people will find anything to complain about

as long as you're comfy (and I'm sure your hooman makes sure you are), who gives a crap

cats can bunch themselves up into weird shapes pretty easily (i myself am part liquid) and that's prolly why your collar looks tight

haters gonna hate.

mama hasn't had a lot of energy lately and has mostly just been playing games on her phone

but hey, that means bonus lap time for me so I'll take it

[Mama here - also, in Hannah's defense, her entire world had just been turned upside down after Rana's unexpected death, and Hannah spending a brief stint in the animal shelter because Rana's mom didn't want to take her and I was out of town when everything happened. Poor bitbit girl.]

probably because during the few interactions we had after Rana-mama passed away, I may have tried to bite him in the face

in my defense he deserved it for being in my space

so mama is visiting friends this weekend

and that means she's visiting with my bratty little brother from another mother, his name is mo

oh hey, mama is working on that cross-stitch of me again

i think it's a pretty good resemblance

though cross-stitch time interferes with lap snuggle time, boo

i found where mama's been hiding when she works from home!!

always gotta kick a leg (or two) out when I burrow.

Peggy goes to the vet regularly for check-ups due to her heart issues, and they're keeping an eye on her for any other issues that may pop up. Peg's humans keep me posted on how she's doing - she's still my old girl, even if she's not my kitty roommate anymore. ❤️

Hannah's mama here - Peggy does have some health issues, and Peggy's humans and I are doing our best to make sure she stays hydrated, fed, and healthy in her old age. (She's almost 18 and a half years old, one of the oldest cats I've known.)

peggy is definitely staying warm. mama gave her the bedroom space heater so she stays extra cozy in the laundry room.

so i dunno how many of my followers are dog people

but if you are a dog person, maia is a pretty cool dog

(she also has good taste in pillows, i like the dice pattern 😻)

Hannah and I used to be roommates! I'm staying in her laundry room right now! Because the heat is broken in my house and I'm super old and get cold easy and I was shivering!
