New report: Daunting barriers for young carers trying to get into higher education, training and employment
New APPG report reveals how caring responsibilities block young carersβ access to education, training and jobs β and what must change.
We welcome the APPG for Young Carers and Young Adult Carers' report on the impact of caring responsibilities on young people. π
β° And we're pleased that it calls on Govt to address the 21 hour rule which means young adult carers cannot claim Carer's Allowance if they study for over 21 hours a week.
