It is where Peter Tigerstedt the Rhodie plant breeder is buried too, right amongst the Rhodies in the Arboretum. Amazing place.
Also in Helsinki there is a couple acre planting of hundreds of Rhodies with an elevated walkway. Well worth a visit.

@heyrhododendron.bsky.social have you been t9 the Mustilla Arboretum in Finland? There is an amazing assortment of Rhodies there. I wss searching for some siberian fir seed and found it by chance. It is where the Helsinki variety comes from I believe.
