Pink and black squares of text saying Fruitmarket is delighted to be chosen as the host of the 2025 Dr Gavin Wallace Fellowship – a year-long writing residency which supports Scottish-based, mid-career writers to develop new work.

The Dr Gavin Wallace Fellowship is an opportunity for a mid-career writer to spend a year dedicated to producing their own new writing, gaining support and inspiration from the host organisation. Every year, the Fellowship has a broad theme to guide the relationship between the writer, their work, and the host.

A screenshot of Finding Seaglass playing in the BBC Sounds app. The cover art shows an old photograph of a Black man, Hannah’s father, with a curly Afro wearing a black button-up shirt and holding a baby, Hannah, wearing a white and red dress and reaching her arm towards him. A screenshot of Hamlet Noir playing on BBC Sounds. The cover art shows Kronborg Castle as viewed from the sea; an imposing stone structure with turrets, towers, green roofs and spires. White bold text over the castle reads “Hamlet Noir.”

Fresh off of our big night at last week’s #APAs24, we’d love to remind you that FINDING SEAGLASS and HAMLET NOIR are available again on BBC Sounds. If you haven’t listened to these award-winning productions yet, please do pop on your headphones and let us know what you think 🎧🤍
