though I will say finding the right trainer it is a lot like the process of finding the right therapist, in that it might take a couple of tries to find one that you like and seems to know what they’re talking about

getting a personal trainer completely changed the game for me, it helps fix the two biggest barriers to entry: not having accountability, and not knowing what to do. i’m much more likely to work out consistently if all i have to do is show up at a certain time and just do whatever he tells me to do
