I’m fairly confident it won’t be kept a secret. He’s not a god. People lose their jobs for principle all the time. If there’s one thing we’ve had no shortage of under Trump it’s whistleblowers.

There are hundreds of civil servants at BLS, they all have telephones and friends. If someone alters the numbers you’ll know. It will be a huge news story. That doesn’t mean Trump won’t do it but it won’t be a secret.

Health care and social assistance combined for some 94% of the job growth.
