I also don’t understand why some of the online film nerds are obsessed with the lighting especially with the first Wicked. They were basing it off the trailers but I thought the movie was beautiful. Film Twitter is so insufferable.

I feel like people who endorse this meme forget that the same year X-Men Origins: Wolverine came out. Plus, there are plenty of impressive CGI effects nowadays.

There are also countless ways to resist and protest that don't involve marching in the streets but y'know, why bother having empathy for people just trying to go about their lives to spite the monsters when we can wag fingers for internet brownie points.

Did it ever occur to anyone shaming people for not physically protesting that maybe some people have responsibilities and too much at stake to risk being gassed and arrested?

No of course it didn't because it's the internet and still a woker-than-thou pissing contest.

This whole trend of hating the recent Disney/Pixar film to prop up another animated film is insulting and I’m sick of it.

Hate the corporate side all you want, I do too, but the crews of these films don’t appreciate this.

I’ve liked stories with characters who aren’t good people and fall from grace but something about him just leaves me cold.

When I was rewatching Revenge of the Sith, I feel my main issue is that Anakin is not as compelling a character as he should be. It’s not Hayden Christensen’s fault. He does as well as he can. But the character is an a-hole but not one I enjoy following that much.
