If you like the M+L series I think you’ll really like it. It’s no Superstar Saga (my personal favorite) but it has a lot of fun characters, good enemy design, unique environments and puzzles, and FINALLY side quests that all make it a great experience.

I’ve been really enjoying Brothership a lot, but even with them bringing in more RPG elements it’s a pretty light RPG. If that impacts your decision at all
