I didn't even realize they dropped the The Box subtitle until this post. In my mind this game I vaguely remember but never played was always Legendary: The Box. Now I'm sad.
I guess it's partly how the Pokemon are all so innocent and naive. Somewhere between pets and kids. They don't understand the implications of all the devastation around them. They just want to see their human friends again, and have hope that if they work together they can make it happen.
Why does Pokopia keep making me cry, man. This is supposed to be a sweet and cozy game. But there's this whole melancholic vibe beneath the cute and colorful surface, and the documents you find that explain what happened are filled with little gut punches.

Tossup between 4, 4 remake, and Revelations 2.
4 just has perfect pacing and is hard to put down whenever I start a run.
4r has more fun gameplay but slightly weaker pacing.
And Revelations 2 has Raid Mode.
I replayed it a few years ago and when I got to That Part I was like "Wait how was it even a debate that this was pretty fucked up?"
Yeah if I see a priest in an anime my first thought is definitely, "Ah yes, a good person who will help our heroes"

Switch 2 doesn't have the one Big Killer App like BotW, Halo, or Tetris. But most consoles don't get one of those.
It did get Mario Kart World, Bananza, Air Riders, and Pokopia. And 4 first-party exclusives worth buying is better than most consoles get, especially these days.
I think Switch 1's first year really skewed what people expect from launch years, because a lot of people are saying it's a letdown without 3D Mario and Zelda.
But BotW and Mario Odyssey in year 1 wasn't a new standard for Nintendo, it was a desperation attack.

I'm 2 episodes into the new season, they just got to the grand line and met a giant whale.
Hopefully that development isn't too far off because I like the actor and want to like the character. But the lying is annoying and I'm still not sure what he adds to the crew.
What was Usopp like in the One Piece anime? Based on his role in the Netflix show and the fact that he's the only strawhat I've never seen fanart of, my hunch is that he was an even weaker link in the anime and the Netflix show is actually giving him more to do. Am I close?

This is halfway a joke, but also if they did it as a Balatro type thing set in the RE4 village, I genuinely think it would sell very well.
Donald Glover has a wild career path. He did silly internet videos, then he was the silly guy on Community, then he had a hit song critiquing the racism America is built on, and now he's in a bunch of big franchise films like Star Wars, Lion King, Spider-Man, and Mario.
It reminds of the whole, "If your weapons are NFTs, you can use them in any game!" nonsense. An idea that only sounds cool if you don't understand why people play games, how they're made, or frankly the entire technology you're desperately trying to convince people is useful.
This makes me imagine a cozy RE spinoff about an Umbrella employee raising BOWs

Switch 1 really didn't have much to look forward to at this point either. Year 2 was extremely slow, basically entirely carried by Smash Ultimate, which wasn't announced by this point.
