<3 likewise!! I’m a staunch advocate. It’s first in my Letterboxd top 4 and I take every opportunity to preach the virtues of Freddy’s Dead to anyone polite enough not to shut the conversation down.
Watching all the way through the awkward end credits song is a must!! Whilst actual film would be a treat, I’m mostly keen to share the experience being surrounded by other people who like the movie enough to come out for it.
This is my favourite movie of all time, uneven and rough around the edges as it is I’ve always adored its energy and vision!! It’s so nice to read someone taking it seriously rather than just saying “it’s shit” without elaborating. I hope I’ll one day experience it in a proper theatre!!

Rehearsing my set for Vaporwave Pop Up Shop and I’ve finally found that sweet spot between knowing what to do and the set being wild enough that it continually threatens to run away with me. After weeks of feeling bad, it finally feels good!!
