I always tend to give my OCs very detailed backstories. I think it’s just an occupational hazard for me.

However, I don't believe that having a 'setting' is a requirement. Whether you enjoy them for their looks or create them as your own persona, everyone has their own way of enjoying OCs!

For mecha structures, I use insects as motifs. I want to incorporate parts that allow for 'logical movement,' like realistic joint articulation and armor. But like I said, I'm really bad at drawing mecha...😅

Besides animal designs, I’m really into all kinds of 'non-human' characters. I wish I could do mecha too, but it’s just not my thing, so I gave up on it for now! 😂

To keep the character lore consistent, I’ve made a rule that Alnair is physically unable to sever or destroy their own neck.
So even if they threw themselves off a cliff, they’d probably just land safely😅

Alnair wanders through dimensions chasing phantoms like the Pilot and the Snake. It is a faint hope for salvation from a tragic reality that offers no other escape.

Poor Hachi. He’s just trying to enjoy his life in Japan, but Alnair keeps dragging him out to fight in some other dimension.

He used to do his job properly back then, dealing with folk beliefs and curses... but he got way too used to modern Japan and became such a goofy guy! 😂
Plus, he’s fully aware he’s not human, so I’m sure he just skips out on taxes altogether! LOL
