Been lying awake listening to a bird for hours. What could it be? Open Merlin and instantly the road fills with cars. Not a word of a lie.

Had to go to the ensuite and open a window to record. It was a Robin. Why is the Robin singing all night? Probably light pollution. 😪

Makes me think of that video of a crow sliding down a snowy roof on a lid.

I can't find the link now but you want ulnar, radial and median nerve gliding exercises.

Hot hand I know well, though it's more pain hand for me. It's a nerve missignal. When you said phantom phone too, I thought omg he's got pernicious anaemia! But then my husband said he gets phantom phone and I remembered your job - hot hand likely nerve compression in the wrist from computer work.

For Christmas, my son got me this sweet metalwork Jay kit from the Royal School of Needlework. Making swift progress until work starts next week!

She's just lost the comp.

Oh she is my equal favourite. And much missed.

Oh him! In my defence, I was busy running for council in the autumn of 2017. And doing a PhD. And trying to be alive again after a health diagnosis so not surprising that year has slipped my mind. 😅 Tbh she should win every year though. And always have good partners. 😁

Did she? When was that?

I'm most sad for Katya. She's the greatest choreographer of all strictly ever. The only consolation is maybe she won't leave til she's won so I get to keep seeing her amazing dances. #strictly

Why are people cross with her?

Greatest choreography on strictly. It's a crime she's not won it.

Fresh Prince is Fanny Price. His cousins are the Bertrams.

Fb memories tells me it's 11 years since I realised Fresh Prince of Bel Air is Mansfield Park. 11 years of nobody else apparently discussing this.

I got new glasses about a week ago. Not only have they fixed about three months of continuous computer headache, but thin metal frames are finally back in fashion. Enjoy your new specs if you get some!

I had mine about a month ago. Two weeks later my husband came down with covid before he could get his covid jab and spent 6 days ill, isolating. My mum has been three months ill after covid. It took me 18 months to stop coughing from flu about 4 years ago. I always vaccinate now.

Taking a break from learning tambour beading (which is SO hard) with a new kit from @londonembschool.bsky.social. This is my first time sewing French loops.

One can only knot for so long before one's finger and thumb are wrecked! It's fun doing this in little installments.

Exciting new delivery! The knotwork kit from @londonembschool.bsky.social using my voucher for being learner of the month! Plus an extra treat, the very cute, tiny teacup needle minder. No more shoving needles in the settee arm and losing them inside...

Are there any mathematicians on here up for helping me to create a model equation to approximate an haematological problem? Just for fun!

Is that the origin of the Fabian Society conspiracy? I saw an article published a day ago and a YouTube video which are being shared in twitter. It's quite something seeing this new trend sweep through the flag waving profiles.

Nine years since I made my husband's Regency tailcoat. By hand! I had septic fingers from so many needle sticks. 😂 Then I got really really ill with pernicious anaemia and haven't made any Regency clothes since. :( But he'll be wearing this again for a Jane Austen Festival event this month.

How fun is this?! Tambour is tricky compared to needlework. 😅

All recieved. Thank you! It'll give me an opportunity to buy a treat or go towards a new lesson between tambour lessons. I've found the beadwork very tricky and need something I can do in front of the TV!
