Found a bunch of sketches I did of the 147th century post-human beasties from my first trilogy, the Amaranthine Spectrum. Had so much fun coming up with these offshoots of humanity and imagining their filthy, chaotic worlds - would love to write another book about them one day

Bought a lovely 18th century print at Bath market this morning of something that I don’t think exists yet, chilling out in the ruins of civilisation millions of years hence

This repost is, theoretically, against the law as I haven't read it yet. But, being 2/3rds of the way through Tom/Caspar's Amaranthine Trilogy, I can confidently deduce that this book will be utterly bloody marvellous.

Due to a warehouse problem around launch time, the Immeasurable Heaven won’t be stocked in any Waterstones for the foreseeable future.

I’ve compiled a headache-inducing pile of nice blurbs and would be so grateful if anyone who enjoyed my weird non-human book could reshare.

Working on my most frustrating book yet. Thought I’d finished after 3 drafts in 2023, then took it back to the drawing board with a big rewrite in 2024. Now realise I haven’t understood it at all. In 2026 I’ll see that I’ve got it wrong again, and in 2027 I’ll realise it was correct the first time.

Found a sketch I must have done years ago of Scallywag the Cethegrande (from my third book, the Tropic of Eternity) in his fancy translucent armour. I’d forgotten how weird that book was.
