Mentioned to one of my townhouse neighbors that I had a vacation coming up. He asked when and where I was going. When I told him Japan and the date he replied " no way me too." Same flight one row apart. What are the odds?

I'm finding it difficult to go about my day today after the horrific events in Tumbler Ridge yesterday. These events are rare in Canada but incredibly haunting to the entire nation. I am just so profoundly sad, my heart breaks for all those involved.

Book golf trip vacation package for Sept, two days later airline cancels the direct flights and has us connecting through Calgary with 50 min connection time.
Airline: " Don't worry if you miss your connection we'll put you on the next flight with a partner airline"
