Such a weird feeling when your album is finished.
All songs are finished for my second album. NowI have to think about whether I should try to release it on vinyl?
Any thoughts about this if it's worth doing? I have no clue how my listeners would translate to physical sales.

Took a bit of a break on social media. Travelled for 3 weeks in Japan (again). I really love that country and all those jingles and sounds they have for shops, the public transport and even when you have green light as a pedestrian. So much feels
Will release my second album in 2025. Most of songs are close to being done. But I will probably sit on it for a while and see how well the songs flow in each other.
Safe to say that I really enjoy
making music with the OB6.
I recorded multiple layers of the same patch with it for my song Nostalgia.

To be honest I take every moment that I have some creative juice going on. Knowing that I will have weeks were I don't have any. Maybe not the healthiest thing to do though
Nothing new. But a video of Charlie Puth reminded me again how important it is to make space in tracks. Meaning that not everything should be quantized to bits! Leave some space for the drums, move the synths & shift them a bit left and right. The drums will feel more in the pocket as a result!
Using background sounds from my own travel video’s is so fun. It brings so much texture. In A Lost Dream I used sounds when I was canoe in the jungle. Texture is everything to me
Released a new track today. Not sure how to categorize this song, but I did enjoy making it. Experimenting with new sounds or track compositions is something that excites me. It keeps the juices flowing

Usually when I release song, I can't listen to it anymore for some time. This is because I have heard countless of times during mixing and mastering. However this was different for my song Nova Nights. I kept replaying the mp3 on my pc while gaming or coding.

I should use my ob6 more often. I usually just start my daw and dabble with vsti’s because it’s easy to create sounds. But man oh man, making sounds with the ob6 is so much more satisfying.
Made this song with the JU06a, a small machine with a nice oomph to it. Only downside is that it only has 4 voices. So I had to use some tricks to make it sound like it has more voices.

My album called Cosmic Harmony took quite some time to make. Call me a perfectionist, but I really want songs to flow well, and I try to avoid fillers as much as I can.
