But yes, also included dozens of quilters of all genders + their advice in the Pt. 2. A beautiful thing about quilting is that it is inclusive, and I loved hearing from multiple genders on how much reverence there is for the history. Women should not be the only ones praising women.
Hi! Olivia does identify as they/she & I was thrilled to have her museum-centric knowledge of intersectional history. I was surprised she didn't quilt, but wanted to include people of various levels of quilt experience. I'm actually surprised that featuring 2 men seems to erase Olivia's inclusion.
