I remember i was so angry while watching it. I get that it's part of our history but the whole "we've come to save this uncultured people with our religion" take makes me wanna bite someone.

My problem with the film Silence (2016) is that, while it's a very good film, incredible even, it feels to me like one of those usa ww1-ww2 movies that are about the soldiers but actually are just w*r propaganda. Silence is a good movie, but it's christianity propaganda.
