Sure, he missed out on the trades. I think he missed out on Kikuchi last year. But, Kikuchi also agreed so early in FA for anyone to bid on him. The others (Fried, Eovaldi) landed where they wanted to be. We had high bid on Eovaldi last year, but Eovaldi waited for the Rangers to lose out on Fried.

We had the high bid on Schwarber and Suarez. According to Zach at Pigtownsports, Boston had to go back to the table 3 times, just to eventually match our bid. I’m frustrated too, but to say we were not aggressive is inaccurate.
