There is a 'double whammy' in that levels of sight loss rise even further with severity of learning disability... some of these patients may not be able to say there is an issue, meaning there is a risk of "diagnostic overshadowing." Proud to have graduated from Loughborough University with a Postgraduate Certificate in Storytelling.

My studies focused on the importance of storytelling in health & care for improvement. A fascinating discipline that I have thoroughly enjoyed studying and that I am eager to explore further.

I had an experience where I checked in for my appointment then waited....and waited...in the waiting room to be called. It transpired the professional with whom I had an appointment had actually retired! A couple of weeks later I received a letter telling me off for DNA-ing my appt.
