some of these are uninspired BUT

9 out of 10 artists online probably aren't in it for like, a career that will dominate the majority of their life, and would probably have a lot more fun on social media just passing silly drawings to their friends and their friends and so forth until you have a fun little ecosystem of artists 🐛

it's too bad because i really think Big Internet Artist as a concept has kinda poisoned a lot of what people expect out of posting their art online and what they should aspire to. i really think there's nothing more satisfying than draw fun oc art and seeing the same 5 people go wild for it
