Otherwise, my preference of more typical male idol groups has to be 光GENJI. They set the "idol group gimmick" bar too high with the whole rollerskating thing lol
Their every intention was to debut as one of those New Music bands, but their label had other plans😅 If you know of successful soloist Fumiya Fujii, this was the band in which he got his start^^
チェッカーズ (The Checkers) have the catchiest songs known to mankind imo and are another personal favourite ... but the group's formation and songwriting was thanks to the members themselves, so whether or not they fit the idol label is debated.
As a Hideki fan, I'm obligated to mention the Shin-Gosanke (solo idol trio with him, Goro Noguchi, and Hiromi Go). Each have long discographies with lots of variety~~ Hideki's live albums would be my #1 choice but Goro and Hiromi's catalogues are more accessible since they have more on streaming^^
I really like some male showa idols so it's sad to see most overseas listeners overlook them in favour of the girls🥲 I'm glad to see an exception here and hope you end up finding something you like☺️

警官役の菅原文太がありえんくらいしぶとい事で有名な『太陽を盗んだ男』の話をしてもいい？いいよ。ありがとう。
ひょんな事から原子爆弾を作った中学教師の城戸（沢田研二）が主人公。そのデカめのスイカくらいの玉をネタに政府へ様々な要求を突きつける！
いわゆるアレです。「今の時代に絶対作れない」というアレです。プルトニウムを原子力発電所から盗むし。序盤のバスだって無許可で撮影したらしいですし。そんな昭和のトンチキが詰まった名作です。
そんなジュリー先生を菅原文太警部が追うのですが、ヘリから落ちても銃で撃たれても死なない！そんな菅原文太の鬼気迫る演技も必見。そして他では真似出来ないラストに驚愕しろ。

季節ごとの旬の食材を使った料理が出てくる飯テロ作品
胡麻豆腐が一番美味しそうでした。
お寺に住んでいたことだけあって御経をあげたり、旬の幸の収穫の仕方、野菜の育て方など
沢田研二が万能に描かれていました。
いただきますの大切さが分かるいい作品ですね
ただ作家と恋人関係にある女性・・・
明らかに年の差があるので個人的にはちょっと無理です(；´∀｀)

One glaring drawback here is the lack of a "post video" feature to conveniently add a video that's already been uploaded to a new post😞 Even so, it's not like that'll dissuade me from sharing videos of my faves over time☺️
