Probably 3,000+ in Charlotte, NC that a major road is closed. Hands Off Charlotte is supporting recent budget cuts that affect medical care, science research, education, nonprofits, parks and the arts including many of our city’s well established museums. #handsoff #charlotte

Yeah I for sure get what you mean. I don’t remember being like this in 2016/17 only bc I don’t remember it being this insane. But I for sure remember being very upset nonetheless. And thank you! I’ll be okay. Just a weird dejavu of feelings.
It’s the same sense of out of control, unknown “what’s happening to the world” “what’s gonna happen to the world” “this is serious but how serious” it feels all to familiar and it’s not okay.
I felt this sense of anxiety and doom of the unknown. I was glued to news, obsessively focusing on predictions of what would happen and it was just chaos. That’s what this feels like. I feel like not only is my current anxiety a direct result of the last week but it’s also a bit of a trauma response
Does anyone else feel a similar way to how you felt the end of February/beginning of March 2020? I remember things w Covid started amping up and news started be filled with numbers of cases, what to expect, how serious it all was and just everything about. As that all happened
I want to add to this list with other DEI businesses and businesses that are women owned, LGBTQ+ owned, BIPOC owned, Hispanic owned or disabled owned. Comment with any that you know of. Bonus for small businesses but major corporations are okay too as long as they fit one/more of the above.
