Overly systemised coaching allied with a very rich prem ,means the floor has been raised and teams cancel each other out more.
It’s also worth remembering that football’s always been mostly quite boring . We just remember the good bits.

Sure , but tennis have used it for decades with instant clarity /no delays . The goal line tech in football is instant too . The delays seem to be more about interpretation of visual lines by VAR.

I don’t understand why they can’t use tennis style “Hawk-Eye” along all the touchlines.

Might well just be left out of squad for today . It’s a big squad and we can’t get everyone into team/on bench . He’s been pretty ineffective the last few months.
