Man . Good timing !
Love the podcast
The whole point of your podcast is that it’s a critique of Arsenal, good points and bad points.
“Critique” isn’t just a fancy French way of saying criticise.
it’s pedantic ,I know, but that’s the way it goes.
So it’s a small thing, but it’s something I’m stuck on and that’s just how it is .
But everyone on your podcast uses “critique” when they mean to criticise.
There’s a lot of “I don’t mean to critique” “let’s not critique” etc etc
Or more simply, the number of matches won.
To dare is to dough
1-1 in first leg away is fine
How many times does Arteta have to check he hasn’t left the gas on before leaving his house?
In Arteta’s fever dream this is what Timber can be
Dont underestimate the effect that getting hammered by Madrid will have on them.
Yet I like to think Arsenal kind of do
Well he clearly kicked Noni’s heel from behind if that’s what you mean .
I mean I’m a modern man with modern football sensibilities but in old money this is the European cup and a 1-1 away from home in the first leg is more than fine .
Masochism works for some
Wow
This post is still so fresh !
I’d love to be wrong but I just don’t see how we’re going to finish up winning much adopting the George Graham 92-95 approach
Oh
1-0
0-0 at half time away at this stage of the comp is fine .
Yes we’ve been way too slow and two touchy when one touch at pace is needed . But Arteta’s main concern is control and not conceding .
Hopefully they’ll step it up a bit 2nd half.
Exactly this .
These are the matches where Saka needs to really step up . He’s been very ineffective so far.
and now
they will suffer

That said , the issue of the rich becoming increasingly and obscenely wealthy is a live one …
Interesting. The clubs income in 2015 seems to have been 150 x what it was in 1980. If there’s so much money sloshing around the highest levels of football I’d still rather the players got the majority of it rather than the execs.
Absolutely
I’d much rather we play Barca in semi than Newcastle
£84K in 1935 would be approx £7-£8m today
Kind of wild that in the 45 years from 1935-1980 the annual income increased by £1.94million.
In the next 45 years annual income increased by £688million.
Maybe that’s not so strange, time and money being what they are ,but it does seem bit mad.
They wrote the “Debateable” in the wrong place.
