I implore you: Look at the nature of the vote, at the nature of the state.

I am not saying maybe critique rulership, what i meant to say was: Look at what a state objectively *is*. A monopoly on violence that by subjecting them defines a people who are then in turn (taxes, dying soldiers in war,...) the basis of the states power.

The conflict between Biden and Trump is not one of democracy and oligarchy or whatever, but a democratic fight over the correct utilization of american power for US interests and the morals of the nation and the alignment of the american state as a whole.

They don't want to institute some different horrific oligarchic (world) order. They already have their democratic world peace order. And if you actually meant that billionaires would then overtake all government power you simply misunderstand the relationship between capital and state.

By this you mean that, if one does not vote, the powers that be will abandon this grandiose democracy and institute an oligarchy. I don't know where you get that idea from, considering that all I ever see is advocacy for more democracy in the world.

This absolute opposition of people and state can be seen in war: The interests and existence of the state are fought out with the life of its citizens
What's so odd about that is that in war, by the own state and by the enemy, ones own survival is totally set in one with the enforcement of the state

It is wholly incredible how a critique of the vote and democracy can so reliably be understood as an endorsement of voting for the opposition. And conversely it's quite odd that a lot of people who criticize Biden in such a fashion are actually endorsing the state in the subjunctive mood.

And maybe then the thought that there is no perfect leader becomes a critique of rulership, as opposed to an endorsement of someone who has a program for the state and an image of its necessities, which is indeed different from Trump's program for the US state...

(this becomes absolute in war when subjects are killed for the aims of the state) and because b) modern states institute a system of competition and opposing interests.

Well you say there are no perfect leaders but why is that? Well maybe it's because a) governance is by necessity in direct opposition to the subjects of the government, seeing as you only need force to make people do things they do not wish to do
