I am aware of the disasters and turbulence that arose in the 2000s, I'm not nostalgic for "simpler times" when I was a dumb kid who wasn't aware of the world's state

There are genuine things from the 2000s that I and people my generation are passionate for/want for our future

I'm an emo girl myself, I'm not goth but holy crap the way that goth fashion and goth women have been treated by corporations, the mainstream and a lot of men as of recent years is so horrible

It's not just goths either who have been dealing with this as well or will be the only ones, which sucks

People be saying "I want a goth gf"

Until they see someone in the goth scene

With crazy eye makeup, dressing like a witch, 1,500 belts and satanist accessories, microbangs, shaved/bleached eyebrows, actually enjoys goth culture and not purely using it to sell adult content and ditch it in a week

It also doesn't help the modding scene is atrocious

Despite being UE5 and having a built in mod-loader, people insist on using vibe-coded file managers for mods

Not to mention the ridiculous amount of NSFW mods for this game

Due to that, I have no plans currently on going back to modding it

I still think this game is great despite being the last racing game that I'd wanna play nowadays and I never want to go back to it

This game feels like it ages so much faster than any other racer I've ever played despite only being 5 months old

Sonic CrossWorlds is a weird game

The worst metas out of any kart racer I've ever played, the most annoying kart racer items ever created, frequent festivals that nobody likes, jank, low-quality DLC and overpriced

Yet we all still agree it's amazing despite dropping it ages ago because of that

*only trust what people around them who share the same disdain say*

A lot of young people only trust what is spoonfed to them

Anything that isn't convenient or easy in tech, they think it's unintentional and "rulebreaking" by design, as they're used to tech being so convenient and by the book nowadays, anything that isn't is "wrong", which leads into that disdain

Not sure if I really fall into 'younger generation' (2004)

A lot of it is comes down to tech illiteracy, never bothering or knowing how to research emulation, rom dumping and don't care about the importance of preservation

They only trust what people and the big corpos who publish the games say

I was unable to get my preorder refunded for Kiwami 3 once I heard the backlash. I played it anyway and unsurprisingly, I have a lotta mixed opinions, there's A LOT of bad, but also some good here

I gave Yakuza modding a try by doing my part to make Kiwami 3 better and breathe more life into it

Never lose hope if you can't find love, there's always someone out there no matter who you are. I never imagined I'd find love being the depressed mess I was.

But even I did, she kept me moving forward and saved my life when I was at my lowest.

been working on a massive overhaul called Sonic Frontiers Aether by myself, completely new combat system, new progression, new difficulty modes, its a huge rework of the gameplay thats been slowly worked on since 2023 lol

Depression, anxiety and demotivation have been kicking my ass for the past 2 months, might be seasonal depression but I don't know

I haven't been motivated to create anything lately and I'm not sure why, it's quite a shame. I end up dropping new ideas I have within an hour nowadays

RGG has lost practically all of it's goodwill in the last 3 years and continues to bury itself deeper, it hasn't been the same since Nagoshi left.

That's kind of the thing, a lot of these people don't have a disclosure at all or do their hardest to hide the fact they're using AI

And I wasn't able to pay attention to the sound details since I was dealing with an auditory problem at the time

I had an ear infection a few days ago, which impacted my hearing but I still tried to listen to music and remixes

I revisited some of the songs I listened to after I recovered and managed to pick up on the cues that it was AI Generated which I couldn't hear prior
