Printed my first ever dry point etching yesterday. Would like to fiddle around more and add some colour. Overall I loved just being able to sketch it out rather than plan the layers like a Lino. Although tricky seeing what you’re doing on a transparent surface

Thank you Harry for your input. I’ve sold a lot of bigger ones for £25 and yes that seems buyable to most. But now I have to also factor in the 30% taken from the gallery. Maybe £30 then makes it still ok? I love your trains!

#printpromptmonday and a bit of #foliage from my latest Lino cut. I challenged myself to do one colour, and had to really think about what to carve away and what to leave. Harder I found than using colour to define areas.

These are only small. Smaller than A4. I need to look the paper up. It was from Handprinted and middle of the range I think. I think the print workshop take 30% so I need to allow for that too. Maybe sell them for £20. They are originals after all.

You’re are beautifully complex! It sounds like you’re under charging but then so am I!

Oh thank you for that. I have the added difficulty now of selling through my local print workshop and they take a good chunk themselves. Therefore I’ll have to up prices to make it worthwhile. Hard to know what to stretch it to.
