Oh and re: the mislabeled episodes, another consistent thing I experienced was a library of files labeled by production number or code, rather than broadcast order. If someone at WB put the S1 eps in order according to file name, it's entirely possible that they'd end up with mislabeled episodes.

I believe it! True on the film side, too, though no longer to the degree that is still common with TV.

Something I discovered at my last job: Licensor TV libraries are shockingly chaotic. I'd be given "full access" to a series, only to find mislabeled, disorganized, and incomplete catalogs, which created questions no one at the company could or would answer.

I appreciate the lesson!
