the discourse rn is just "too many games of the genre I dont like" atm

Ive seen angry posts with:
- too many souls
- too many anime
- too many gacha
- too many beat 'em ups
- too many rogue likes
- too many fps
Guys there are only so many genres they can show lmao

But somehow it didnt hit me like the three games on top of my list. Its a perfect CRPG on paper but on a pure personal level it lacks *something* idk
Sadly its not "one of those games" for me but I will replay it with different companions, other sidequests and DLC for sure!

just finished Pillars of Eternity 1 after 60h!
Great game. the perfect homage to the Infinity Engine games.
Its a mix of Baldurs Gate, Planescape.
Great Story, great writing, fun combat, interesting lore, cool companions, beautiful backgrounds, good roleplay, cool bilds, perfect music.

Had a dream about a game last night:

first 3rd was a 2D Metroidvania.
second 3rd had classic dungeon crawler level design and resident evil like puzzles and stalker enemies in 3rd person.
last 3rd had Cluster Truck like movement in a megastructure filled with giant monsters.

Creation Engine Elder Scrolls 6 will be soo weird after Unreal Engine 5 Oblivion now imo I can imagine the grifter comments about graphics already

I finally got into Pillars of Eternity 1 after like 3 or 4 failed attempts. The beginning and backer-characters really aren't a great first impression lmao
But other than that it's great so far!
